
Jason leads AI strategy and systems development for Communities Foundation of Texas’ Educate Texas, working with schools and districts to implement next-generation approaches to teaching and learning. Drawing on a research collaboration with Stanford
University’s Graduate School of Education, he develops and implements technology and AI-powered tools designed to deliver high-quality, equitable learning experiences for all students — while helping education leaders manage the complexity of change.
Before joining CFT in 2026, Jason co-founded Yourway Learning and co-authored “Blended Learning in Action,” a bestselling resource used by educators nationwide. His path into education was shaped by youth development and nonprofit work during his time at Morehouse College, and he has since worked with thousands of schools and districts across the country. He also speaks at leading universities and conferences on the intersection of AI and education equity.
Jason is the chair of the EDSAFE AI Industry Council and a board member of The Shepherds Foundation. He is a founding member of Innovation for Equity and an advisor to OpenUp Resources. His work has been recognized with the Whitney M. Young Trailblazer Award from the Wharton School and a Top 40 Under 40 designation from the Miami Herald.
Jason holds a bachelor’s in chemistry from Morehouse College, a master’s in education from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Wharton School, where he was an IW Burnham Scholar.
