In Texas, 54% of jobs require skills and education beyond a high school degree but only one in three Texas students earn a college degree or workforce credential. The gap between market demand and education completion must be narrowed if Texas is to remain a leader in business and industry.
Educate Texas strategizes and collaborates to prepare students to succeed in today’s workforce. Educate Texas works with state agencies, school districts, two and four-year institutions of higher education, and policymakers to design and implement high-impact programs that support post-secondary success.
