The Texas Administration Code requires that all teacher candidates go through an Educator Preparation Program (EPP) in order to become certified as a Texas Teacher. Recognizing that teachers are the most important school based factor impacting student learning, Educate Texas is committed to
increasing the number of diverse and effective Texas educators.
