This collaborative program supports the implementation of effective math teaching practices in order to increase the percentage of students (especially Black, Latino/x, and low income) who are on track to college and career success by the end of the 8th grade.

CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVING OUTCOMES

TxNSI is one of more than 30 networks across more than 20 states using continuous improvement methods to change middle and high school outcomes, powered by $240 million in grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. TxNSI provides support through:

Tailored professional learning

Coaching to help campus teams test ideas to address specific challenges

Facilitating network approach to share learnings

Key Initiatives

TxCAN project teams address persistent challenges in college access. These teams are composed of both statewide and regional college access leaders.
EDUCATE TEXAS

Network lead responsible for identifying schools, coordinating operations, communications, and data analyzation.


LEARNING FORWARD

Specializes in professional learning for educators with a focus on continuous improvement methods.

Experts in K-12 and postsecondary mathematics instruction, policy, and research.
